Agreement on protection of visitors signed with Portugal

On the 13.7.2009, the Association of Portuguese Insurers - APS, represented by Dr Pedro Seixas (President) as well as Dr Alexandra Queiroz (General Director), and the Swiss National Bureau(NBI), represented by its President, Dr Martin Metzler, have signed an agreement on the protection of visitors in Lisbon.

This agreement becomes effective immediately and provides the application of the 4th Motor Insurance Directive between the two signing countries by accordance and with the provision of reciprocity. By signing this accord, the Bureaux consider the conditions of reciprocity as fullfilled.
