Agreement on protection of visitors signed with Croatia

An Agreement on the protection of visitors was signed on the 30th september 2008 in Zagreb between the Croatian Insurance Bureau (HUO), represented by its general manager, Mr Hrvoje Paukovic and the Swiss National Bureau of Insurance (NBI), represented by its President, Mr Martin Metzler.

The agreement comes into force immediately and stipulates the application of the main provisions of the 4th MID of the EU between the joining MTPL-insurers of the two countries. Accordingliy the insurers will designate claims representatives and announce them to the information centres.
